Electrical Engineer from Villanova University 1960, has been founder of the firm and been designing electrical projects since 1964. Member of Puerto Rico Engineers and Land Surveyors Board since 1964.

Obtained his BSEE in 1962 from the University of PR Engineering School. His EIT and PE, Puerto Rico licenses were obtained in 1963 and 1967 respectively.

Worked as project engineer with a major electrical contractor for five years. In 1968 he joined Eng. A. L. Miñana to form Miñana Requena Partnership which evolved into Juan R. Requena & Asociados, Ingenieros C.S.P.

Member of various professional organizations, Senior Member of IEEE. Vast experience in all types of Power Systems.

Senior Engineer

Obtained his BSEE degree from the University of P.R. Engineering School in Mayaguez.  Is a licensed professional engineer (PE) by Puerto Rico Engineers & Land Surveyors Board.  Worked as electrical engineer and permit official at the  P.R. Planning Board (ARPE).  He joined Miñana-Requena & Assoc. in 1968.  Vast experience in residential project, underground residential distribution and aerial distribution design.

Obtained his BSEE with honors in 1994 from the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus. In year 1993 became member of engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi Puerto Rico Alpha Chapter. Licensed professional electrical engineer since 1995. Became part of J.R.R. & Associates in 1994 and since 2007 is partner of the company. Great experience at commercial, retail, institutional & residential design projects as well as lighting and dimming systems.

BSEE degree from Rutgers The State University on New Jersey in 1987 and a M.B.A. from Florida Institute of Technology in 1989. Is a licensed professional engineer (PE) by the Puerto Rico Engineers and Land Surveyors Board. Member of CIAPR and IEEE since 1989, Partner of the firm since 2007, has vast experience in electrical design and project management of wide variety of projects ranging from residential, industrial, high rise hotels and sport facilities.

Obtained his BSEE degree from the Polytechnic University of PR in 1994 and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) by the Puerto Rico Engineers and Land Surveyors Board since 1995.  Has been with J.R.R. Associates since 1996 and became Partner of the firm on 2007.  Has a strong background in power systems, grounding systems, renewable energy, industrial, utility and infrastructure projects.

After obtaining a bachelors degree in Biology from Boston College in 1998, obtained a BSEE from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico in 2002 and became a licensed professional engineer in 2004.  Has been part of J.R.R. & Associates since 1999 and in 2007 became Partner of the firm.  Since 2004, has been an active member of the Electrical Engineers Institute of the Puerto Rico College of Engineers and Land Surveyors and was part of the board of directors from 2005 to 2008.  Has a strong background in residential, commercial and institutional projects.
